Design Your Chaos specializes in creating functional and attractive environments so you can simply live. For your home or office, we provide personalized solutions for clutter-free and well-organized spaces that can help reduce chaotic stress, improve productivity, and promote peace of mind.
We first look at all the spaces during your consultation. This gives us a great idea of the functionality of your entire home. Together we strategically decide on the area(s) you would like us to focus on.
We begin by removing everything from the desired space and grouping like-items together. This allows us to effectively see all items in this area.
We work directly with you to decide if each item is a keep, trash, or donate. This process can often be difficult, so we try and make it as simple as possible.
Every item that you have chosen to keep will be placed in an area best suited for the functionality of the home. Our goal is to see all items or contain them into general groups so they are easy to identify. This may include different folding techniques or containers.
Containers are crucial for giving similar items a home, labeling, maximizing space, and saving you money by not re-buying items you already own.
Once all these steps are complete, you will finally be able to breathe easy and enjoy the spaces around you. Not to mention, happily show off every cabinet, closet, and drawer to any of your guests!
Hi there, I’m Francesca! I run and operate Design Your Chaos, along with our owner/founder, Rocky Pilgrim.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, lived in Virginia Beach for a bit, and have been in the Houston area since 2020. My professional background is in Studio Art, Design, and Dental Surgery (What a mix right?!). Outfitted with my neuro-divergent superpowers, I like to think of myself as a creatively charged problem solver.
A few of my favorite things:
My personal design aesthetic involves dark colors, natural wood tones, lots of natural light, and clean lines. I find I lean towards minimalism more than maximalism.
As a child I routinely redesigned and organized my bedroom and learned early on that clutter and chaos created anxiety. Designing my chaos before any new project or task I needed to accomplish reset my space –not only bringing calm and order to my surroundings, but also my mind.
Feelings and emotions are heavily influenced by the physical space around you. Let us help you transform your space into an oasis that encourages creativity and inspires you to be your favorite version of yourself!
Together, we can design your chaos.
